Solutions for High-Speed Rail Effectiveness

Infra-Americas notes Castalia among industry leaders gathered at the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships annual conference in Phoenix on November 19-20 to discuss Arizona and U.S. P3 opportunities. Read the full Infra-Americas article here.

Amongst public sector leaders from Arizona, California, Michigan, and other industry representatives, Castalia's Chief Executive, David Ehrhardt, presented a "how to" session for determining which high-speed rail projects make the most sense and how a P3 model can be used to deliver such projecs successfully. With a total estimated cost exceeding $400 billion for HSR in the United States, innovative solutions on how to get the most bang for the buck out of the federal government's $8 billion stimulus funding are critically important. Castalia leverages knowledge from international HSR projects into lessons learned and practical guidance to help public officials make sound decisions that protect the public interest while optimizing return on investment of their limited resources.  For a full copy of the HSR presentation, click here.
