Michael Ward

Michael Ward - Chief Financial Officer

Michael is responsible for Castalia's financial management and reporting. Prior to joining Castalia, he was an auditor at PwC, where he worked on various clients including both public and private companies. He uses his experience auditing such a diverse group of clients to contribute to the growth and expansion of Castalia. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Robert Morris University.

Lu Gao

Lu Gao - Accountant

Lu specializes in financial reporting and analysis. Prior to joining Castalia, Lu worked as an Accounting Associate at a large non-profit organization. Also, she was an audit intern at Deloitte in Shanghai, China, where she worked on a project to provide auditing services for a Japanese paper manufacturer. Lu graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Finance degree. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown majoring in Business with a concentration in Accounting and Finance (magna cum laude). She speaks English and Mandarin fluently. 
Melissa Bolton

Melissa Bolton - Global HR Manager

Melissa Bolton is experienced in office management, Human Resources and administration, with an interest in accounting. She is Global HR Manager across all the Castalia Offices, working from the Sydney Office. Melissa has worked in both office management and accounting roles prior to joining Castalia. She recently completed a Bachelor of Business and Commerce with a major in Accounting and is about to commence her Master of Business Administration with a specialisation in Human Resources and Management
Morgan Kellman

Morgan Kellman - Organizational Development Manager

Morgan leads Castalia’s organizational development efforts, providing staff and clients resources and opportunities for growth. She specializes in training, professional coaching, corporate structuring, performance management systems, and knowledge management for public and private institutions. Morgan has advised on organizational restructuring and management to improve infrastructure service delivery. She has facilitated international conferences and organized workshops for private and public sector clients. Prior to Castalia, Morgan was a Teach for America Corps Member where she taught, developed curricula, and created assessment tools. Morgan graduated summa cum laude from Trinity Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minor in History.
Lise Oelrich

Lise Oelrich - Marketing and Strategy Associate

Lise contributes to the Corporate Services Team, focusing on corporate communications and marketing initiatives. Prior to Castalia she worked as a communication specialist for an international logistics company. She has worked as a financial communications practitioner for a Johannesburg based agency and taught English in Italy, for five years. Lise gained a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of the Free State in South Africa, an Honours degree in International Politics from the University of South Africa and she completed a Masters in International Business and Development, graduating from the University of Parma in Italy. Lise is fluent in English and Afrikaans and has a good command of Italian and Spanish. 
Vivian Anugo

Vivian Anugo - Senior Business Development Associate, Washington

Vivian is a Project Manager experienced in managing international and community development programs, with a focus on poverty reduction and economic development in the African region. Prior to joining Castalia, she worked as Partnership and Program Manager for a social enterprise recruiting African fellows for development projects in Africa’s emerging institutions. She has conducted extensive research on economic development in Sub-Saharan Africa, and also worked with Nigeria’s diplomatic mission at the country’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations. Vivian has a Master of International Development from American University, Washington DC, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Ashwini Srinivas

Ashwini Srinivas - Business Development Associate, Washington

Ashwini contributes to Castalia’s business development efforts as Business Development Associate. Prior to Castalia, she worked with the business development team at the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, where she assisted on projects to improve business strategies and optimize membership retention.  Ashwini holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with a specialization in emerging markets, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University in India. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil, and has higher intermediate-level proficiency in Burmese.
Mika Butters

Mika Butters - Business Development and Graphics Associate, Wellington

Mika specializes in improving business development initiatives and creating graphics for pitches and projects. Prior to this role, Mika was an administrator at Castalia for over 4 years, with extensive experience in day-to-day operations, document formatting and proofreading, and event planning (including client functions, career expos, and conferences). Mika holds a Bachelor's degree from Victoria University of Wellington studying Japanese, Management and Marketing.

Alycia Austin

Alycia Austin - Receptionist, Washington

Alycia works as the receptionist at Castalia's Washington office. She has over 5 years professional experience in various administrative roles. Prior to joining Castalia, Alycia worked in Hawaii as an administrative assistant on a cruise ship and has taught English to young adults in Latin America. Alycia attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, and looks forward to pursuing a degree in English, with a minor in Sociology, in the future.
Elizabeth Lanham

Elizabeth Lanham - Office Administrator, Washington

Elizabeth is the Office Administrator for the Washington, D.C team. She has provided administrative support to numerous public and private institutions, both in Washington, D.C and Illinois. Elizabeth holds a dual Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Business from Olivet Nazarene University, in Bourbonnais, IL. 
Nel Pascual

Nel Pascual - Office Administrator, Sydney

Nel Pascual provides administrative support in Castalia's Sydney office. She is experienced in office administration, planning and support. Prior to joining castalia, Nel worked for a universal bank in the Philippines. Nel has completed a Master of Business Adminstration specialising in Human Reource Management from Western Sydney University. She also holds Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Cum Laude) from University of La Salette, Philippines. She is fluent in Tagalog and English.
Eleanor Grant

Eleanor Grant - Office Administrator and Editor, Wellington

Eleanor is the office administrator and editor in the Wellington office. Prior to joining Castalia, Eleanor worked as a publishing assistant in an independent company, and as a content writer for an education agency. She is interested in editing and writing. Eleanor has an Honours degree in English Literature from Victoria University of Wellington.
